Ughhh, what a day! This morning, I found out that my uncle passed away in India from an “unknown cause” which is extremely ironic since Sunny and I were talking about our families (both good and bad things) at around 3 AM this morning. Rest in peace. Fortunately, my dad’s taking it very well, so that’s all that matters.

Last night, the Pistons destroyed/annihilated/slaughtered/every-other-term-involving-defeated the Spurs… MUCH to my dismay. Darn those convicts! The ENTIRE Pistons roster needs to make their debut on an episode of “Cops” or “America’s Most Wanted.” I hate them. Especially Rip (how did he derive that from “Richard?”) Hamilton and his nonsensical reasons for using a face mask when he broke his nose a long, LONG time ago. Blehhh, I still love Manu.

Hahaha, this time, I think my nerdiness has exceeded its bounds (and I’m laughing about it? Yeahhhh). I’ve already studying for the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) before premedicine even begins to reassure how much of a dumb*ss I am when I can’t manage to get above a 31 without prior studying (perfect score being a 45). Lots and lots of studying to do in the next two to three years. Bring it! Oh, and just out of curiosity… for those who are going into medicine, have any of you ever heard of a medical school called “Mayo?” I *thought* I knew a lot about medical schools in America, but when I was reading an article on the Internet about acceptance rates, Mayo had the lowest (making it one of the most competitive and picky in choosing students), and I had never heard of it. Now I have yet another medical school to apply to in addition to Harvard, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, and others. (My ambition is going to kill me… as are the rejection letters). X_X!

In a few hours, I’ll be getting ready to go to Seattle and then to Alaska on a cruise. So while the rest of my family panics, makes sure we have everything packed, confirms the flight and cruise, panics some more, and confirms once more… I’m sitting here contemplating what the heck I’m going to do without the Internet for seven days. No more jhhhheeewww-ing with the crew, no more late night chatrooms with my fellow brownies, no more political conversations concerning the superiority of conservatism and fallacies of liberalism — I’m going to miss it so much for seven days. Oh well, could be worse. Take care everyone! Shuma’s goin’ to yet another “red state.”

Happy Vacationing!
