I think it would be nice to live (healthy) up to 100 years, I remember a bio professor from Ghana, Gideon Adjei, said that you could have pints of blood withdrawn when you are in your early 20s, stored. And then when you are in your 60s, have that same blood pumped back into you and you could, theoretically, live longer. Have you ever heard of this? I had always linked telomeres as a potential answer to immortality and the aging clock but now I believe aging is just genes that become expressed as time passes. About your live-another-week pill, I also have been thinking of that since years ago! It sounds like the realm of science fiction but I thought, if you could make every cell in your body cancerous, or immortal, and have a pill that regulates the division of all of them daily, you can, theoretically, be immortal.

I do not agree in that we are running out of room or what not, I recently drove all the way to Utah, and let me tell you, the world is big and largely uninhabited.Airplanes make it seem small. And bananas and fruits still rot because people don't cut them from trees to eat, so there's still plenty room left and plenty to eat, if you have the money.
