AJAX Commenting for WordPress 2.7

This plugin does not work with WordPress 2.8+ and has therefore been disabled on the site.
If you’ve been looking for a new way to give your WordPress.org powered site a more “Web 2.0″ look, you’ve undoubtedly discovered the elegance of AJAX. Before WordPress 2.7, there was a “comment loop” which allowed people to really fidget around with how the comments were presented through template files. Now, there’s a simple PHP call which does everything for you, but at least for me, it took a while before I found a nice plugin to enable AJAX commenting on WP 2.7.

I give you AJAX Comments 2.09. With this plugin, I was able to implement AJAX commenting within a matter of minutes.

Since the plugin is licensed under GNU General Public License (v2), you can download it here to try on your site. Simply move the extracted directory to your /wp-content/plugins/ folder (just like any other WordPress plugin) and activate it. Depending on your theme files, you may need to modify comment id’s or class names, but that’s a simple task.

If you still have no idea what “AJAX commenting” is, try leaving a comment on this post. Now you can add and modify comments without having to reload the page on RK.md thanks to the power of AJAX. :-)

Thank you so much, Eve! Haha, wow, I’m not complaining about that! I got lucky with the SEO I suppose. :-D And I must say that your blog design is fantastic! Hope the AJAX commenting framework can enhance it even more. :-)
