And Women's golf is just as bad or worse...you cannot compare golf with something like Maria Sharapova's tennis. Athletes are not found in golf, just wealthy people with nothing better to do. Along with the bean bag toss, sack race... wow, field day was a gimmick! Now that I think about it, we really didn't participate in any "sport" events. :-D I remember having it in field day too! I agree.  My elementary school gym teacher was CRAZY about cup stacking.  We even had to do it as an event in Field Day.  He also loved jump roping and had an after-school team that he trained.  They eventually went on to compete in the Jump Roping Olympics.  Their team was called "The Jumping Eagles".  They got medals and everything.  Wow.... Oh man….
