Unusually Aggressive NBA Playoff Season

I’m getting ready to watch Game 4 of the Nuggets/Lakers series tonight, and in the meantime, I’m reflecting on the NBA Playoffs this year. Does anyone else think that its been really aggressive? Sure, teams are taking their games up to the next level, but think about the number of technical fouls, flagrant fouls, and suspensions dished out by the referees over the last few weeks. I’ve never seen so many in one postseason.

Maybe the players are engaging in the same level of “Playoff intensity”, but the referees are calling fouls on everything? Unfortunately, they’re not very consistent calls either.

Here’s hoping the Nuggets take the victory tonight!
