US Census 2010 Worries

The United States Constitution contains a mandate for collecting a census every ten years. This tool is useful in informing the government about the demographics of the country, how to appropriate funds, rearranging House seats, etc. However, it’ll be awfully difficult to obtain accurate data with so many Americans fighting a war and illegal immigrants living amongst us.
What I’m worried about is what will happen in terms of party lines. Will Democrats try to exploit their dominance amongst foreigners and conveniently include illegal immigrants in the count to inflate the number of liberal followers? Will there be an unprecedented attempt to find every Hispanic-American and African-American? While there are other concerns, this is becoming a hot topic in the news as of late (even though the census isn’t till April 1, 2010), and I just wanted to get it out on the table. I’ll definitely be blogging more about this come Spring of 2010.
I’m just so sick of politics. We can’t even count the number of people in this country without having to worry about some hot-shot politicians having an underlying agenda!
So is anyone else worried about the indirect implications that next year’s census may have?

“However, it’ll be awfully difficult to obtain accurate data with so many Americans fighting a war and illegal immigrants living amongst us.
” — Should have thought about that BEFORE sending young men and women to a needless war to a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and had no WMDs. Also who is hiring all those illegal immigrants? Oh, yeah, Republicans. Just ask Mitt Romney. Funny how for Republicans cheap labor always supercedes immigration law.
If anyone you have to worry about, it’s Republicans who refuse to actually FUND the Census of 2010: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/25/AR2008112502369.html
Probably to give a measly tax cut which will “trickle down” in a few decades.
“Will there be an unprecedented attempt to find every Hispanic-American and African-American?” — You forget Asian as well – most Asians, unlike yourself, aren’t as self-loathing of minorities (don’t forget, you are one as well in relation to the entire population, although maybe not in medical school) and tend to vote for Democrats.
I sure hope you don’t plan on taking any student federal loans with a ridiculously low interest rate in comparison to private loans. They are after all supported by MY tax dollars and I know how bad conservatives don’t like to be hypocrites.

I remember when I used to be an illegal immigrant that jumped the border and swam the Rio Grande, how a Republican hired me in his ranch to pick tomatoes, and told me not to take the census because they would deport me like and stuff…it was so sad.

Is that true?! If so, look at how far you’ve come ever since!

Not really! But I do feel like I have come a long way though, and still have much to go!

Since Obama’s earnest drive to convince the nation to weaken its economic strength through redistribution as well as weaken its national defense, COUPLED WITH HIS UNPRECEDENTED WHITE HOUSE TAKEOVER OF DECENNIAL CENSUS TAKING FROM THE COMMERCE DEPARTMENT, has confirmed the very threats to our Republic’s survival that the Constitution was designed to avert, it no longer is sustainable for the United States Supreme Court and Military Joint Chiefs to refrain from exercising WHAT IS THEIR ABSOLUTE CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY TO DEFEND THE NATION FROM UNLAWFUL USURPATION. The questions of Obama’s Kenyan birth and his father’s Kenyan/British citizenship (admitted on his own website) have been conflated by his sustained unwillingnes to supply his long form birth certificate now under seal, and compounded by his internet posting of a discredited ‘after-the-fact’ short form ‘certificate’. In the absence of these issues being acknowledged and addressed, IT IS MANIFEST THAT OBAMA REMAINS INELIGIBLE TO BE PRESIDENT UNDER ARTICLE 2 OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. Being a 14th Amendment ‘citizen’ is not sufficient. A ‘President’ MUST BE an Article 2 ‘natural born citizen’ AS DEFINED BY THE FRAMERS’ INTENT.

I still can’t believe they actually went through the trouble of making Obama retake the oath. Thanks for the comment!
