Visiting the Galleria with Mommy

I finally decided to suck it up and take mommy to the Galleria. The last time she went there was with my dad (before I was even born), and their visit was limited to taking a picture by the skating rink. Now, over twenty years later, she was shocked by the number of stores in such a tiny area.

We went around to most of the brand name stores and ended up buying a bag from Coach. Seriously, hundreds of dollars on a piece of fabric? Maybe males are genetically wired to find this an utterly senseless waste of money. But oh well, mommy never asks for anything, so she deserves it.

We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and I enjoyed my “Low-Carb Original Cheesecake” (hey, I didn’t get a chance to go to the gym this morning ;-) ). All in all, we had a fun afternoon in today’s pleasant weather. :-)

Also, did anyone else enjoy the Super Bowl game as much as I did? I hate when championship games are one-sided blow outs, but last night’s game…. wow. I really thought the under dog Cardinals would clinch the victory at the end. Heh, Big Ben and Holmes had other plans. Oh well, I wasn’t really rooting for either team as much as a solid game, and that was definitely the case.
