Baylor Med Emergency Medicine Residency

My flawed logic going into medical school regarding emergency medicine was something along the following lines: take a top 20 medical school in Baylor College of Medicine, physically connect it to a top notch level 1 trauma center which sees over 100,000 patients a year, and you’ve got one of the best emergency medicine residency training environments in the country. Little did I know that this program didn’t exist… until now.
Baylor Med recently approved a comprehensive three year residency program in emergency medicine, and I’m sure many of my classmates are pleased with the possibility of now staying at BCM to continue their training. Now if they could only open up additional spots in the neurosurgery program, my chances of being accepted may be nudged up.
You can learn more about the program’s details by reading this brochure.
