Legalize Marijuana?

With former Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders suggesting that, for the sake of reallocating our law-enforcement resources to more worthy causes, the US should legalize marijuana, I’m beginning to wonder if she’s right.
Angry Birds & Fruit Ninja

Why are the simplest games so incredibly addictive?! Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds, two titles available on both the Android and iOS platforms, have taken over my mobile gaming world… and I really don’t know why. The former involves using your finger to slice fruit while trying to avoid slicing bombs. The latter deals with […]

I was one of a dozen participants in my class to take part in an NBA fantasy league draft this evening. Though I’m a huge NBA fan, this is my first time to actually partake in fantasy sports – hopefully it won’t be too much of a distraction from studying.

Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is one of the few schools which has an “accelerated” basic sciences curriculum. Finishing this portion medical school in eighteen months (rather than the traditional two years) gives BCM students an additional six months to master their clinical skills on the wards. However, several interviewees and prospective students alike have […]
This birthday was pretty uneventful. I spent most of the day watching football. I’m so proud of the Texans for winning the incredible game against the Redskins, but even more ecstatic that the Cowboys are starting 0-2. Looking forward to the Saints’ game against the 49ers tomorrow! With exams around the corner, I tried to […]
