Friday was my last day in the Progressive Care Unit and marked the conclusion of my 2nd month as a resident. I learned so much about the “art of medicine” from my attendings and was honored to work with a great bunch of colleagues.
My third month will have me transition back to the adult world on the hematology/oncology service. I’ve always liked hematology (namely disorders of coagulation and myeloproliferative/myelodysplastic diseases), and hopefully I’ll become more familiar with the mainstream chemotherapeutic agents used in modern oncology.
…and hopefully I’ll have more time to read this month. 🙂 Hope everyone has a happy and safe Labor Day!
