For those NBA fans out there, perhaps you can also vouch for the surprising start for the Houston Rockets. Without Tracy McGrady, without Yao Ming, without Dikembe Mutombo (yes, he’s on par with the first two) and without Ron Artest, we’ve managed to stay over 500. Nearly escaping with a victory in Toyota Center against the Lakers, a lot of skeptics have now shifted to supporting the underdogs. Read more

Unusually Aggressive NBA Playoff Season

I’m getting ready to watch Game 4 of the Nuggets/Lakers series tonight, and in the meantime, I’m reflecting on the NBA Playoffs this year. Does anyone else think that its been really aggressive? Sure, teams are taking their games up to the next level, but think about the number of technical fouls, flagrant fouls, and suspensions dished out by the referees over the last few weeks. I’ve never seen so many in one postseason.
