Every week, I chauffeur my mother to our family businesses to pick up deposits, reports, and attend to some regular maintenance. The round trip from home to all our stores and back is roughly 100 miles. This gives me plenty of time to observe the driving tendencies of Houstonians, many of which have inspired me to write this post.
This is for the rubbernecker. The individual who we can count on to always make the irrational decision. The gifted member of society who voluntarily goes out of his/her way to make the rest of our lives miserable. The person whose fascination with other people’s business will likely get them into an accident of their choice. This is for you, humble citizen of utter selfishness.
