Three months after purchasing a pair of Saucony Kinvara 9 shoes, I realized I needed something that’s more weatherproof for the upcoming snow! Even a slight drizzle rendered my socks soaking wet in the Kinvara shoes, so I went back to the Brooks brand that I enjoyed during residency.
This time, I got the Ghost 11 GTX – GTX stands for Gore-Tex, an incredible material that is water-proof but allows water vapor to exit. These shoes are also way grippier than the Kinvara pair, so I hope they’ll get me through the cold Boston winter! 🙂
