I have no idea how I got through my medical training without blackout curtains, but my last few call shifts as an attending have been brutal. I already have enough difficulty sleeping during the daytime, so I decided to install some blackout curtains in the bedroom for roughly $50. I went with grey, double layer blackout curtains and a simple window curtain rod from Amazon.
