RAVPower 90W Versus HyperJuice 100W Gallium Nitride (GaN) Chargers

I ordered the HyperJuice 100W gallium nitride (GaN) charger from an Indiegogo campaign back in January;. With COVID-19 and the associated shipping delays, I finally received the product today. In the interim, I bought RAVPower’s 90W GaN charger from Amazon and have been using it without a hitch for the last several weeks. Let’s do a brief side-by-side comparison of these two products.

By spending ~$15 more for the HyperJuice, you get a slightly higher power output with more ports for simultaneous charging as well as international adapters. The tradeoff? The HyperJuice is slightly larger than the RAVPower charger but still small enough to carry around everywhere.

Personally, I carry the HyperJuice to/from work just in case multiple colleagues need a “fast charge” option while we’re busy in the operating room or ICU. The RAVPower is a wonderful option for almost anyone (and in my opinion, I definitely prefer the square black form factor), but some users will need to invest in USB-C cables (ie, USB-C to lightning cables) whereas the HyperJuice also has USB-A ports.
