Medical School Apps

So I finally finished my TMDSAS application last week, and submitted it on Friday. Fortunately, my transcript was already received, and hopefully my application fee, photos, and certification page will all be in Austin by tomorrow. Now I’m waiting for the health professions committee to compile my recommendation letter and send it off. So the verdict – I’m an “early” applicant. =). Unfortunately, UT Southwestern’s secondary application is currently offline due to some technical difficulties, but hopefully that’ll be resolved really soon.

So for those of you who are more technologically inclined and can relate to my nerdiness, you’re aware that I recently received a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo Black Macbook for graduation; however, with the consent of a wise individual (aka, daddy), I’m doubling my RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB to more adequately run virtual machine software (ie, VM Fusion or Parallels Desktop). Now I can run Linux and Mac simultaneously with very little strain on my multitasking ability in either OS.

Well, now I’m watching the Celtics/Pistons game, so have a great night!
