End of Pediatric Surgery

Since there were no procedures scheduled for the operating room yesterday morning, I was dismissed after morning rounds – my last day of pediatric surgery. 🙂

I’ve summed up most of my thoughts regarding pedi surg in a prior post, so I’ll leave you with a frame that I will one day own.

Also, the two ENT residents I worked with in April graciously added me to an abstract which will be presented in February 2012 in San Diego. This happens to fall within the two month window I’m taking off to study for USMLE Step I, so I may actually end up going. Either way, I’m incredibly thankful that they remembered this lowly MS3 nearly six months later. 😀

I’m about to leave for my first day of general surgery at St. Luke’s. Here we go!
