Looking Back At RK.md 2012’s Design

With the end of the year fast approaching, I wanted to see how my site’s design has evolved over the last few years. I turned to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine to see how RK.md looked roughly three years ago.

Because of limitations of the Wayback Machine, some of the sidebar styling was not properly translated to the archive; however most of the layout is accurately depicted.聽At that time, I was still dabbling with JQuery’s functionality, CSS3 properties, HTML5 and overall web design style. Over time, I learned to appreciate fonts, color schemes, and overall simplicity, yet my eye for design has never been spectacular. Truth be told, I’m more of a programmer than a designer.

I couldn’t help but smile at how I’ve evolved. 馃榾
