First One Way Ticket – Boston!
I’ve booked many round-trip flights in my professional career for meetings and interviews, but earlier this week, I booked my first one-way ticket. The reality of leaving my home (and safe zone) in Houston is starting to finally hit me. I know I’m about to embark on a journey which will catapult my clinical development, but there’s something to say about the fear of the unknown.
I know some of my colleagues have moved many times for college, graduate school, and ultimately their careers. They probably find moving to another city to be trivial. It’s just that I’ve grown so attached to everything Houston has to offer. *Sigh*, I’ll miss it! 🙁
