While I’ve loved my Model S Plaid for its performance and futuristic tech, I’ve always wanted to add a true “driver’s car” to the stable. One with a more analog soul – something more planted, precise, and engaging that’s not just about sheer acceleration. For years, I’ve had my eye on Porsche (literally years… had posters of the first generations of 911s on my wall as a kid). And after spending more time behind the wheel of the Taycan lineup, I knew exactly what had to come next. I give you my Porsche Taycan Turbo S.
Having had an electric vehicle (EV) for the last 5+ years, I knew I wanted to continue with the low-maintenance life (not to mention free charging at my apartment). The Taycan Turbo S offers a duality of sophistication and savagery with chassis control and steering feedback, which makes it feel like an extension of me. It’s all so intentional, from the build quality to the driving position to the futuristic hum. I also think the design combines sleek, aggressive, and timeless traits for this era of EVs.
