Summary

RK.MD is a personal website independently operated by Rishi Kumar, MD. My goal with RK.MD, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube (collectively referred to as “social media”) is to share lessons from my career as a medical trainee and attending physician while upholding the tenets of professionalism and patient privacy outlined by HIPAA. If you ever have any suggestions, let me know! Matomo

Matomo is an open source web analytics platform through which I collect and process certain information from users to this website.

Contact Form — When a user sends me an inquiry via the contact form, I collect the name, email address, and message. This data is solely used in connection with answering the query I received.

Usage Data — When you visit RK.MD, I store the website you visited from, the parts of this site you visit, the data and duration of your visit, your anonymised IP address (e.g., 192.168.xxx.xxx), information from the device (device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, country you’re located in, and web browser type) you used during your visit, and more. I process this usage data in Matomo Analytics for statistical purposes only, to improve RK.MD and to recognize and stop any misuse.
