A year ago, I wrote the following on my 24th birthday:
One year from now, I’ll be done with my USMLE Step 1, core rotations, and several electives. Residency applications will be in, and I’ll *hopefully* get some early interview love too.
It sure feels good to have predicted everything accurately. 🙂 Let me try again… one year from now, I’ll be a resident physician in anesthesiology trudging through my intern year and remembering why I entered this profession every single day of my training.
It was another uneventful birthday except a few friends made it very special by providing oh-so-wonderful baked goods. 🙂
