30th Birthday

My 30th birthday was rather uneventful! I started my first elective on the infectious disease consult service, went home, got some Whole Foods for dinner, and watched documentaries on YouTube for most of the evening. :-)

29th Birthday

Last year, I wrote about spending my 28th birthday on call at Ben Taub Hospital and looking forward to the fellowship interview/match process. Fast forward a year later, and I'm going to be on call for my 29th birthday as well. Woo! :-D

28th Birthday

24th Birthday

Nothing eventful at all this birthday - another long but rewarding day at Texas Children's Hospital. Scrubbed into a five hour total colectomy followed up by an open gastrostomy. Straightforward cases... but I've never felt so tired from…

23rd Birthday

This birthday was pretty uneventful. I spent most of the day watching football. I'm so proud of the Texans for winning the incredible game against the Redskins, but even more ecstatic that the Cowboys are starting 0-2. Looking forward to…

22nd Birthday

21 was a great age for me. I got into my dream medical school, earned a lot of money in the stock market, made some new friends at Baylor Med, etc. Thanks to everyone for their wishes! :-)
