With only weeks left before many of my classmates part ways for residency, a handful of my close friends went to Major League Baseball’s season opener – the Astros’ inaugural game in the American League… at Minute Maid Park… against the Texas Rangers. I was excited to be there, but had absolutely no expectation for the Astros, a decent Triple-A team (hah ;-)), to actually win this game. They proved me wrong. 🙂 Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Houston Astros are over .500 for the season. Here are two pictures I snapped in the ballpark.
