Finished With Nephrology

I’m officially finished with my first rotation as a resident… but I’m going to really miss everyone I worked with this past month on nephrology. Each day posed a new set of challenges in patient management, interesting cases during morning reports and conferences, and understanding how consult services interplay with inpatient medicine teams. I bid the VA Hospital farewell till I do inpatient medicine wards in April 2014.

Tomorrow, it’s time to start in the progressive care unit (PCU) step-down unit at one of the nation’s finest pediatric hospitals in the country – Texas Children’s Hospital. 馃檪
