The NBA All-Star events are being held in Houston this year! Growing up, my favorite segment of the weekend was the Slam Dunk Competition. Seeing greats like Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, and Tracy McGrady really brought the competition up to a new level, but over the last few years, the lineup has been comprised by not-so-all-star players. Last night’s competition was actually pretty good compared to what I’ve seen in the last few years. Congrats to the Toronto Raptors’ Terrence Ross for putting on a show!
And during the celebrity game on Friday, my favorite player in NBA history showcased his signature “finger wag.” Rock on, Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo! One of my life goals is to get a picture with this incredible humanitarian. 🙂
