Critical Care Ultrasound Notes – CCEeXAM Preparation

My critical care ultrasound exam is scheduled for tomorrow. This is the first time this exam has been offered, so there is no established consensus on how to prepare for it. That being said, I’ve reviewed relevant chapters from Perrino’s A Practical Approach to Transesophageal Echocardiography and consulted Society of Critical Care Medicine reviews to compile a set of concise notes, incorporating insights gained along the way, to aid in exam preparation.

These notes are free, and as such, I don’t guarantee the accuracy of their content or ease of interpretation (there might be typos, shorthands, incomplete areas, etc.) With that said, if you find any major errors, drop me a comment on this post with your suggestions! Have fun!

Hey Rishi your posts have been so informative. Thank you so much. Two days from boards. Wanted to see if you can recommend which formulas to focus on?

Hi there! I honestly don’t remember (its been so long), but continuity and the simplified Bernoulli equation sure do come up a lot!
