Today marks the 8th birthday of my site’s current domain name! My journey started back in the mid-2000s with rishi-kumar.com, originally hosted by Dot5Hosting. I transitioned to a Bluehost shared hosting account on September 18, 2008. Back then, I was blogging fairly regularly about politics, tech, and the medical school…
I’ve spent the last two weeks using with my new Bose QuietComfort 35 bluetooth headphones, and quite simply, this is one of the best electronic investments I’ve ever made. At its price point, it really is an investment, but the value of quality sound with noise cancellation is like an escape from…
I’ve been playing with Allo, Google’s latest “smart messaging app”, for the last day. Although I love its clean design and wonderful integration with Google Assistant, there are several key areas which, until addressed, will keep Google Hangouts as my primary messaging client.

One thing I’ve always loved about SteelSeries’ mice is their simple yet functional, ergonomic design. The Rival 700 comes with tactile alerts (yes,…
Google I/O 2016’s keynote was yesterday, and while it was fairly light in announcing immediately available updates/products, there are some great things in the pipeline! I’ve been running Android N Developer Preview 3 on my Nexus 6P and Pixel C devices for the last day (with file-based encryption enabled), and I can…
Just got my Pixel C’s keyboard in this morning and, naturally, the first thing I did after updating its firmware was a typing test. Keep in mind that I literally spent no more than 60 seconds on the new firmware before proceeding with the following test on TypingTest.com.
