ASUS ROG Strix RX Vega 64 Versus SAPPHIRE Pulse Radeon RX 580

Before heading home to Houston, I was able to purchase the ASUS ROG Strix Vega 64 graphics processing unit (GPU). At the time of this writing, this is arguably the most powerful GPU compatible with Mac OS Mojave out of the box. Furthermore, it’ll give an immense boost to gaming on my Windows 10 partition as well.

Here’s a UNIGINE Heaven 4.0 benchmark comparison:

On GeekBench 4.0, the RX 580 scored ~140,000 on the Metal benchmark. In comparison, the Vega 64 scored ~210,000.
